Mulberry Group (AIM:MUL) said group sales rose 18.1% in actual currency terms, and 18.2% in constant currency, for the 26 weeks ended 26 September, in a trading update covering its first half.
The British lifestyle brand, listed on AIM, said the performance was in line with the board's expectations.
The US business grew sales 28%, with like-for-like growth of 34%, helped by stronger digital performance including the launch of Bloomingdale's Marketplace and an expanding wholesale presence.
Europe outside the UK grew sales 23% (21% like-for-like), while the UK rose 10% (9% like-for-like) and Asia Pacific grew 5% in actual sales but 24% on a like-for-like basis.
Franchise and wholesale sales jumped 52%, with wholesale now representing 17% of total sales, up from 16% in the prior-year period.
The group said it resisted discounting during the period, with promotional sales representing a 300 basis point smaller proportion of total sales than the prior year, supporting gross margin.
New product lines including Raffia, Crochet, Stevie and the Darley Camera Bag performed well alongside established lines such as the Bayswater and Lily, while the Mulberry by Christopher Kane show at London Fashion Week lifted brand visibility.

"The growth in full-price sales is particularly encouraging, demonstrating that our collections are resonating with customers across our key markets," chief executive Andrea Baldo said.
The update follows a 52-week period to 28 March in which Mulberry narrowed its underlying pre-tax loss to £8m from £24.1m and turned underlying EBITDA positive at £0.8m, with gross margin improving to 72% from 67%.
Mulberry said it remains focused on rebuilding gross margin and restoring profitability, targeting medium-term annual revenue above £200m at a 15% adjusted EBIT margin.
The group will announce its half-year results on 19 November.
