Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Tickstock governing your use of this site. It sets out the most important point first: Tickstock publishes financial journalism and market information, not investment advice.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of tickstock.io and any associated pages, feeds, and services (together, the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is published by The Creamery Media Company ("we", "us", "our"), publisher of the Tickstock title. Ownership and funding are described on our ownership page.

2. No investment advice

Tickstock publishes financial journalism, news, and general market information. Nothing on the Site is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an invitation or inducement to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument.

  • Content is general in nature and does not take account of your personal circumstances, financial situation, objectives, or attitude to risk.
  • We are not a financial adviser, broker, or regulated financial services firm, and we do not provide a regulated advisory, arranging, or discretionary-management service.
  • Prices, valuations, ratings, broker commentary, and forward-looking statements referenced on the Site can be wrong, can become out of date quickly, and can move sharply. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
  • You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. You should carry out your own research and, where appropriate, seek independent advice from a suitably qualified and regulated professional before acting on anything you read here.

The value of investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invested.

3. AI-assisted content and accuracy

Tickstock content is produced by an editorial pipeline that combines automated drafting with quality control and editorial oversight. How this works, and its limitations, are described in full on our AI disclosure and verification and fact-checking pages.

We work hard to be accurate, but we do not warrant that content on the Site is complete, current, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Where we become aware of a material error we correct it — see our corrections policy.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including any trading or investment loss, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation, or is fraudulent or harmful;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or data from the Site except as expressly permitted (for example, via our published RSS feed) or with our prior written consent;
  • Republish substantial portions of our content as your own, or in a way that misrepresents its source.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, content on the Site — text, layout, graphics, and branding — is owned by or licensed to The Creamery Media Company and is protected by intellectual-property law. "Tickstock" and associated logos are our marks.

You may read, share, and link to our content for personal, non-commercial use, and may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. Any other use — including commercial reproduction or redistribution — requires our prior written permission.

7. Third-party links and content

The Site links to and references third-party sources, filings, broker material, and websites. We do not control that material and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability, or content. A link is not an endorsement.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data and analytics is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with the "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
