MTI Wireless Edge (AIM:MWE)’s antenna division has landed an order worth roughly US$2m to supply military antennas to a local defence company — a repeat sale that the group says will be delivered during 2026 and 2027.
The deal forms part of a flurry of defence business the company has booked in the opening fortnight of April. "In the first two weeks of April, we have secured a series of significant defence-related orders with a combined value of approximately US$8m," the company said.
MTI will supply tactical military antenna hardware and associated systems from its antenna product line. The announcement did not disclose contract pricing cadence or whether the work is fixed-price or time-and-materials, but timing indicates revenue recognition will span the next two fiscal years.
The win cements recurring demand from an existing customer and feeds into MTI’s broader defence pipeline. The company noted the influx of orders "reflects our internal forecasts of a step-up in demand for our range of defence related products" and that the "business is very well positioned with a healthy pipeline of potential orders across all three divisions."
