Hercules (AIM:HERC) announced that its Construction Services division has won around £5 million of new contracts to deliver civils works for UK water sector clients in the fourth quarter of its financial year to 30 September.
The AIM-listed infrastructure and power services group said most of the contracts were secured within the Thames Water region and have already commenced, with completion expected within six months.
The work falls under the AMP8 regulatory investment programme, through which Ofwat has committed more than £104 billion to UK water utility companies between 2025 and 2030.
These latest awards add to a pattern of momentum at Civil Projects this year: the division had already secured more than £15.7 million of contract awards across the first nine months of FY2026, including c.£4.5 million from Thames Water and c.£1.6 million from Anglian Water announced in July.
"These awards build on the strong progress made by our Civil Projects business during the year and demonstrate the continued demand for our civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities," said chief executive Brusk Korkmaz, adding that the company remains focused on "leveraging our strong experience within the water sector to drive additional opportunities" as it enters FY2027.
