Shearwater's Brookcourt wins £1.7m government threat intelligence deal

Shearwater Group (AIM:SWG), the AIM-listed cybersecurity, advisory and managed security services group, said its subsidiary Brookcourt Solutions has secured a £1.7 million contract with an existing Central Government customer to provide advanced threat intelligence capabilities over a two-year period.

The contract replaces the customer's previous agreement following its expiry, broadening the scope of services to include additional platform capabilities and a larger number of users.

Brookcourt secured the deal through G-Cloud 15, following the expansion of its offering under that framework.

The platform will give the department intelligence to identify and respond to cyber threats at an early stage, aiming to protect GOV.UK sites and services, UK citizens and the government's wider supply chain from attacks and fraud.

"We are delighted to have secured this contract, building on our existing relationship with the department and expanding the capabilities and user coverage we support," said Phil Higgins, group chief executive of Shearwater Group.

The win follows a run of contract awards for Brookcourt this year, including a c.£25 million five-year extension with a major UK telecoms provider in July and a $1.2 million three-year deal with one of Japan's largest financial groups, both of which underpinned the board's confidence in meeting its FY26 adjusted EBITDA target.
