Beeks extends exchange contracts and plots AI network push

Beeks Financial Cloud Group (AIM:BKS), the cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets, said it secured approximately $4m of Exchange Cloud contract extensions in the first quarter of its 2027 financial year.

It adds to the previously announced Stock Exchange of Thailand win from the same quarter, taking Beeks' total Exchange Cloud customer count to eight.

Beeks sold its first Market Edge Intelligence contract, a five-year, $4.8m deal with one of the world's largest banks, in June, and followed it with further wins at a global technology customer and a North American exchange operator within weeks.

The company is now preparing two further launches for the third quarter of the financial year: Beeks Global Network, offering protected internet access and private connectivity between major financial centres, and an AI infrastructure partnership with OmniPhi, in which Beeks has taken a strategic minority stake.

The OmniPhi tie-up will let financial institutions run AI trading technology on Beeks infrastructure, deployed in colocation facilities or on customers' own premises, while keeping control of sensitive market data and trading strategies.

Beeks said both launches are designed to capture more of its existing customers' spend and to open new standalone customer relationships that could be cross-sold into its wider cloud and analytics offerings.

"We have made a strong start to FY27, in what is typically our quietest quarter, with around $4m of Exchange Cloud extensions showing how much scope there is to grow within the existing customer base," said Gordon McArthur, chief executive of Beeks.

"Our focus is firmly on execution: turning that demand into signed contracts, growing our recurring revenue base and making the most of the investment we have put into our technology and infrastructure," he said.

Beeks said it continues to progress a strong pipeline across Private Cloud, Proximity Cloud, Exchange Cloud and Market Edge Intelligence, with both launches due in the third quarter of FY27.
