IXICO (AIM:IXI) announced it expects revenue for the year to 30 September to reach £8.3m, up 28% on the £6.5m reported in the 2025 financial year and ahead of market expectations, the AIM-listed neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics group said in a trading update.
The figure beats the guidance IXICO issued on 7 July, when it upgraded its forecast from £7.5m to £8m, with the company citing an acceleration in analysis orders during the final quarter.
IXICO, which uses an AI-driven platform to support drug development and diagnostics in neurological disorders, said the growth reflects momentum in the neuroscience market and increasing demand for its neuroimaging and biomarker analytics capabilities. The year-end order book stands at £16m, up from £13.8m a year earlier, which the company said further improves revenue visibility and prospects for future growth.
Cash at year-end stood at £10.4m, compared to £3.5m in 2025, reflecting a £9.4m capital raise, net of fees, completed in April.
Full-year EBITDA loss is expected to improve on existing guidance of a £1.7m loss, with the company saying its revenue performance is set to offset increased investment for growth.
