MS International (LSE:MSI) has secured a €19.4m contract to supply three naval gun systems to a NATO nation, awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary MSI Defence Systems.
The Norwich-based defence engineering group's MSI-DS 30mm gun systems will add counter-uncrewed aerial system protection to the platform's existing naval capability, addressing a growing threat from drone attacks at sea.
The systems will be fitted with radar and optical detection alongside the MSI-DS Fire Control System, giving the vessels combined protection against surface, semi-submersible and aerial threats.
The company said the integrated configuration responds to a period when "adaptable weapon systems are increasingly required".
Deliveries are expected to begin towards the end of 2027, aligned with the customer's wider programme timeline.
