Fevara (LSE:FVA) has completed the disposal of Chirton Engineering, its sole remaining engineering business, to UK engineering group Deca Group.
The London-listed company is an international specialist in livestock supplements, whereas Chirton was the last piece of Fevara's former Engineering Division, most of which was sold off in April 2025.
Deca Group paid £0.65 million in cash on completion, with a further £0.2 million deferred over two years, on a cash-free, debt-free basis.
The sale completes a strategic review aimed at simplifying the group into a single-focus livestock supplements business built around its core strategic pillars.
"We are delighted to have achieved the final milestone in our strategic journey to simplify our operations and focus the business as a pure play international specialist in livestock supplements," said chief executive Joshua Hoopes.
He added that the group has "a clear strategy for sustainable and profitable growth" and is positioned to build long-term shareholder value.
With the engineering business now fully divested, Fevara's future updates will centre entirely on its livestock supplements operations.
News Intelligence what this means for the company
Fevara has completed the sale of Chirton Engineering to Deca Group for £0.65m cash upfront plus £0.2m deferred, finishing its exit from engineering and becoming a pure-play livestock supplements business. This closes a strategic review that began in April 2025 when most of the Engineering Division was sold; the company now operates solely around its core livestock brands (Crystalyx, Horslyx, Scotmin Nutrition) across manufacturing sites in the UK, Germany, the US and Brazil.
The divestment removes a non-core drag and simplifies reporting, but the £0.65m proceeds are immaterial against FY25 revenue of £78.8m. The real test is whether focus on livestock supplements—where the company reported adjusted operating profit of £3.7m in FY25—can drive the margin improvement and geographic expansion the company has flagged as strategic priorities.
