Alongside that headline, contract wins for Seeing Machines in Japan and Beeks Financial Cloud in North America underlined a broad day of commercial progress across the sector.

IQE secures multi-year InP epiwafer supply deal with Tower Semiconductor

IQE (AIM:IQE) agreed a multi-year supply arrangement for Indium Phosphide epiwafers to Tower Semiconductor, with the material destined for silicon photonics applications in AI data-centre optical interconnects. The agreement also carries a royalty-free licence that resolves prior intellectual property litigation between the two companies, removing a legal overhang at a stroke. The shares surged 20.0% to 55.5p on the news.
