Property Franchise Group takes 25% stake in AI platform Enteka

The Property Franchise Group (AIM:TPFG) has acquired a 25% equity interest in Enteka Ai, a conversational AI platform built for UK estate agents and mortgage brokers.

The AIM-listed company describes itself as the UK's largest multi-brand property franchisor, operating brands including Belvoir, EweMove, Hunters, Martin & Co, Northwood and Whitegates alongside its Brook Financial Services arm.

Enteka's technology handles customer enquiries across telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp and live chat, offering round-the-clock lead capture, appointment-setting and cross-selling identification, as well as re-engagement of existing customer databases and property maintenance enquiries.

The platform is already live across more than 210 TPFG offices and Brook Financial Services, giving the Board an established base from which it expects wider rollout to continue.

The stake is structured as a £0.9m subscription for new shares representing a 15% equity interest, with a further 10% interest issued upfront but subject to forfeiture, tied to a three-year commercial agreement making Enteka the group's preferred AI provider.

Enteka will remain independent and continue serving the wider UK estate agency and mortgage broking market beyond its relationship with TPFG.

"Our investment in Enteka reflects our commitment to delivering long-term value for our franchisees," said chief executive Gareth Samples, adding that early adoption "can create a first-mover at scale advantage."

It follows two other platform-extending moves completed earlier this year: the £2.5m purchase of a 25% stake in Meridian HoldCo, parent of Legal & General Surveying Services, and the acquisition of Smart Advice Financial Solutions, both aimed at broadening the group's financial services capability.

TPFG earlier this year, in May, said it continued to trade in line with board expectations, pointing to a highly cash-generative model and substantial recurring revenues across its franchise and licensing divisions.
