Verici Dx (LSE:VRCI) told investors that it has completed an £8.75 million fundraising, combining the institutional placing announced on 8 October with the Winterflood Retail Access Platform (WRAP) retail offer launched the following day.

The placing and retail offer were priced at 0.2p per share, an 11.1% discount to the mid-market closing price on 30 September, the last trading day before suspension.

The £8.5 million institutional placing comprised 4.25 billion new shares, split between 1.68 billion firm placing shares issued under existing authorities and 2.57 billion conditional placing shares requiring new shareholder approval, while the WRAP retail offer added up to 125 million further shares.

The fundraise follows a smaller £2.5 million placing in June at 0.35p per share, after which Verici Dx reported unaudited net cash of about $1.3 million at the end of March, down from $3.3 million at the end of 2025.

Proceeds are earmarked for scaling commercial and supporting personnel, key opinion leader engagement, conference presence and educational campaigns, support for investigator-initiated trials and publications, and working capital and capital expenditure, the same priorities set out for the June raise.

Verici Dx's lead product, Tutivia, a blood-based test assessing acute rejection risk after kidney transplant, generated $2.9 million of recognised revenue in 2025 as orders rose to 1,173, up roughly 250% year-on-year, with centres representing about 20% of annual US kidney transplants using the product.

The company's shares resumed trading on Tuesday morning.

Conditional placing shares and retail offer shares still require shareholder approval at a general meeting scheduled for 27 October, with admission of the new shares expected by 8am on 28 October.
