Abingdon Health (AIM:ABDX) reported revenue of £11m for the year ended 30 June, up 30% from £8.4m a year earlier.
Including grant-funded income, total revenue rose 32% to £11.3m, against £8.6m in FY25.
The AIM-listed and OTCQB-traded company, which develops and manufactures rapid lateral-flow diagnostics and provides regulatory and contract development services, said second-half revenue of £6.8m marked a 62% increase on the £4.2m generated in the first half.
Contract development revenue, the main driver of that acceleration, grew 56% to £5m, from £3.2m in FY25.
Regulatory services and MedTech consulting revenue rose 21% to £4.1m, from £3.4m, reflecting a full year of contribution from CS Lifesciences and growing cross-selling across the group.
Contract manufacturing revenue held flat at £1.3m, while product sales edged up to £0.6m from £0.5m.
The adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to £1.5m for the year, from £2.6m in FY25, with the group turning an adjusted EBITDA profit of £0.2m in the second half against a £1.7m loss in the first half.
Loss before tax improved to £2m, from £3.5m a year earlier, while gross margin rose to 47.1% from 44.3%.
Cash stood at £2.9m at year end, up from £1.9m, after continued investment in Abingdon Analytical, its Doncaster performance evaluation laboratory, and manufacturing capacity in Madison, Wisconsin.
The group had £0.7m outstanding under its Innovate UK loan facility at the year end.
Dr Chris Hand, executive chairman, said the board expects "a significant second half weighting of revenue in FY27" after short-term delays since June on some programmes, citing speciality reagent availability and specification updates as projects progress.
He added that the restructuring of CS Lifesciences, as it pivots toward higher-margin projects, will also affect full-year revenue, though the impact on EBITDA will be smaller.
"Having reached adjusted EBITDA profitability in the second half of FY26, the Board's expectation is that continued revenue growth will take the Group to an improved EBITDA position for the year ending 30 June 2027," Hand said.
