Amaroq (AIM:AMRQ), the Greenland-focused gold mining and development company, has announced its intention to seek admission to the London Stock Exchange's Main Market, moving up from its current AIM listing.

The company framed the planned move as a reflection of progress made across its portfolio and a route to broader institutional investor access, without disclosing a specific timetable or confirming any accompanying capital raise.

"We believe that a move to the Main Market will enhance our visibility in the capital markets, support access to a broader pool of institutional capital, and further strengthen our platform as we continue to execute our growth strategy," said CEO Eldur Olafsson.

The announcement contains no financial terms, completion conditions, or admission date, and amounts to a statement of intent rather than a firm commitment to proceed.

Further announcements are expected as the process develops.
