Serval Resources trading pauses for capital raise

Serval Resources (AIM:SRVL), the AIM-quoted copper-silver explorer, on Wednesday announced it has entered a trading halt under AIM's Capital Access Window process, as it pursues a fundraising, the company said.

The company pointed to progress across its copper projects in Namibia and Botswana since its AIM admission in April.

Serval is currently running three active field programmes: geological mapping and surface sampling in Namibia's Kaoko Basin, geophysical surveys at its Somelo and Sweet Thorn Pan prospects in Botswana's Kalahari Copper Belt, and early-stage exploration at its Duékoué copper-gold-molybdenum project in Côte d'Ivoire.

The Namibia programme is working toward a maiden drilling campaign targeted for the fourth quarter, with an initial mineral resource estimation pencilled in for 2027, a goal the company has previously said depends on additional funding.

Integrated interpretation of the Botswana geophysical surveys is expected in October, with follow-up drill targets due around the end of that month, also subject to further funding.
