Sure Valley Ventures Fund II, where AIM-listed Mindflair (AIM:MFAI) holds an interest, led a $2.5m pre-seed funding round in Ralio Limited, a UK fintech building payments infrastructure tailored to autonomous B2B AI systems.

The company says the proceeds will be used first to further develop Ralio’s core platform and second to expand its engineering team in London. Ralio’s stack embeds guardrails, identity verification and audit trails into agentic transactions and connects agent workflows to payment rails including bank transfers, cards and stablecoins.

Investors in the round included Seed X, Love Ventures, Plug and Play, rule30, Adeline Arts and Science, Endurance Ventures, Campus Fund, fintech angel Alan Morgan and continued backer Antler, with Sure Valley Ventures leading.

"Ralio is addressing an important infrastructure challenge at the intersection of AI and financial services. As AI agents become more capable of operating autonomously, the ability for them to transact safely, compliantly and with full accountability will be a critical enabling layer for enterprise adoption. We believe Ralio is well positioned in this emerging category with significant long-term potential," said Nicholas Lee, Director of Mindflair plc.
