Nomad Compute (AQSE:NMD), formerly Visum Technologies, changed its name and AQSE ticker to NMD effective 1 May at 8.00 a.m.

The change accompanies a strategic refocus, announced on 30 April, to deploy relocatable, globally-mobile compute infrastructure for edge AI applications.

The new name is intended to reflect a business model centred on modular, containerised edge AI compute that brings processing power to where it is most economically and strategically valuable, rather than to centralised facilities, Nomad said.

The company's prior ticker, VIS, will be replaced by NMD on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market.
