Cordiant's Emitel launches Tier III+ data centre services

Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited's (LSE:CORD) portfolio company Emitel has launched a data centre developed to Uptime Institute Tier III+ reliability standards, marking Emitel's entry into the data centre market and the immediate availability of co‑location, cloud and data processing services.

The facility currently serves Polish and pan‑European enterprise customers and sits within Emitel, a leading integrator of terrestrial telecommunications infrastructure in Poland that also provides smart city and IoT solutions.

"Entering the data centre market is a natural evolution for Emitel and another step in delivering our strategy of becoming one of the leaders of Poland's digital transformation," said Maciej Pilipczuk, CEO of Emitel.

The rollout is positioned to capture rising demand for secure, resilient and scalable digital infrastructure driven by AI and other compute‑intensive technologies, with the facility targeted at customers operating in the Warsaw metropolitan area and across Central and Eastern Europe.
