Cirata (LSE:CRTA) said the Revised OEM Agreement will see IBM embed and distribute its Data Orchestration product, Cirata Symphony, as the next generation of IBM Big Replicate, providing a unified control plane for petabyte-scale continuous data movement, real-time lineage and immutable audit trails.
The solution is engineered to expand native support for open table formats including Apache Iceberg and to enable real-time transformation of legacy data into AI-optimised formats, and Cirata is a leading provider of enterprise data orchestration technology.
"Together with IBM, Cirata gives organisations exactly that capability, accelerating change without sacrificing operational continuity or control of their trusted data," Stephen Kelly, Chief Executive Officer, said.
Under the agreement Cirata supplies the Symphony technology while IBM will embed, brand and distribute the combined solution through its global channels to enterprise clients, and Cirata said this OEM contract formalises the commercialisation of IBM's 28 April Statement of Direction to expand the strategic partnership.
Management said the deal is expected to accelerate Cirata's commercial reach by leveraging IBM's global distribution network and established enterprise relationships.
