Mkango Resources's (AIM:MKA) 50% owned HyProMag USA has now moved its magnet‑recycling project into the execution phase, SP Angel analyst John Meyer highlighted, whilst repeating the broker's Buy rating.
Meyer, in a note, reacting to the project update, said the leased facility will act as a central hub for rare‑earth magnet recycling and manufacturing, and said that the lease allows parallel workstreams, detailed engineering, procurement and feedstock and offtake development, to proceed.
The broker flagged the site's logistics and infrastructure benefits and highlighted the project's design capacity of about 1,550 tonnes per annum (tpa) as a standout operational scale metric, adding that installation of communications, security and other foundational systems will start now that the lease is in place.
SP Angel, Mkango's 'house broker, acting as the AIM nomad and broker, said the hub occupation is a near‑term execution milestone to watch as the team advances long‑lead procurement and seeks feedstock and offtake agreements.
