The Smarter Web Company buys 10 Bitcoin, holdings rise to 2,840 BTC

It has added more Bitcoin to its treasury under its "10 Year Plan", taking total holdings to 2,840 BTC.

The Smarter Web Company (LSE:SWC) announced it has bought 10 Bitcoin at an average price of £58,891 per coin for a total of £588,911 as part of its ongoing treasury policy.

The Smarter Web Company, which provides web design, development and online marketing services and adopted a Bitcoin treasury policy in 2022, said its total average purchase price across holdings is now £81,275 per Bitcoin with total amount purchased of £230.82m and a Quarter-to-Date BTC Yield of 14.26%.

Following the purchase, total drawings under the Coinbase Strategic Credit Facility are £16.5m, representing an approximate leverage ratio of 10.89%, and the company said the facility remains secured against its Bitcoin, carries a variable interest rate of between 6.75% and 7.25% and is repayable at the company's discretion.
