Sage has announced the launch of Sage HCM, a new human capital management solution for mid-market organisations in North America that integrates HR, payroll and workforce data with Sage Intacct and introduces an AI-powered HCM Agent alongside industry-specific capabilities for construction.

The solution, from Sage, a provider of accounting, financial, HR and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, is designed to join core HR, payroll, time and talent workflows with financial reporting to give CFOs and HR leaders clearer visibility and control over workforce costs.

"With Sage HCM, organizations can connect workforce and financial data in one place, improve visibility into labor costs, strengthen payroll accuracy and make better workforce planning decisions," said Jonathan Cowan, EVP, HCM, Platform Strategy and Operations at Sage.

Sage HCM launches with the HCM Agent to streamline payroll preparation, validation and reconciliation while flagging compliance risks, and with Sage HCM for Construction to support union rules, certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting while linking labor data to job costing.

Sage said the product opens new opportunities for partners to deliver workforce and finance transformation, it will showcase Sage HCM at Sage Future in San Francisco from April 28-30, and the solution will be generally available in the United States and Canada from April 2026.
