MedPal AI plc (LSE:MPAL) (MPAL) said it has entered the at‑home blood testing market with the launch of the MedPal weight loss blood test, designed for users of GLP‑1 treatments such as Mounjaro and Wegovy.

The company said samples are collected at home using the virtually painless Tasso+ device, analysed by a UKAS‑accredited laboratory (ISO 15189) and the results are delivered directly into the MedPal app within 48 hours, where they are combined with data from over 100 wearables powered by Google's Vertex AI to create personalised health profiles.

Jason Drummond, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, said: "Blood testing is the missing layer in consumer health. By combining wearables, blood biomarkers, AI insights and pharmacy fulfilment in one ecosystem, we can now take users seamlessly from insight to diagnosis to treatment."

The filing said the kit is the first in a diagnostics range due to roll out through 2026 and will initially be offered exclusively to existing MedPal app users; the test also "adds a third revenue stream alongside the Company's AI wellness app and automated pharmacy operations at MedPal.clinic," the company said.
