MedPal AI (AIM:MPAL) said its group annualised recurring revenue run rate reached approximately £8.6 million based on July trading, up more than 70% in two months and built from a standing start of zero revenue nine months ago.

The AIM-listed, AI-native digital health and pharmacy group said July marked the first month in which all three of its revenue streams, NHS prescriptions, private prescriptions and software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscriptions, were simultaneously operational.

NHS prescription dispensing hit a monthly record of 47,223 items in July, up 11.8% on the previous record of 42,250 items in May, lifting that unit's annualised turnover run rate above £5.5 million from more than £5 million on 1 June.

New Health, the Group's GLP-1 weight management clinic, generated private prescription revenue annualised at over £2.2 million after just three weeks of marketing, while eMARx, acquired on 20 July, added roughly £843,000 of annualised SaaS revenue at an 82% gross margin.

"July was a record month across all three of our revenue streams, and all of this represents repeat revenue," said Jason Drummond, founder and chief executive.

The Group expects cross-selling NHS prescriptions to New Health patients, and upselling services such as at-home blood testing and its Juno AI health companion, to drive further growth.

Completion accounts for the eMARx acquisition are expected to be finalised by the end of August, with final consideration of approximately £94,000 settled 35% in cash and 65% in new shares.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

MedPal AI's annualised revenue run rate reached £8.6m in July, up 70% in two months from a standing start nine months ago, with all three revenue streams (NHS prescriptions, private GLP-1 clinic, SaaS software) now simultaneously operational and each hitting monthly records. This marks the first full month of integrated operations across the group's three units, following the opening of the Runcorn robotic dispensing facility in July and the eMARx acquisition completed on 20 July, which added £843k annualised SaaS revenue at 82% gross margin.

Investment case

The company has moved from zero revenue nine months ago to £8.6m annualised run rate with all three units profitable and growing simultaneously—a material acceleration that validates the integrated platform thesis. However, this is a run-rate figure based on one month of July trading; sustainability depends on whether NHS prescription volumes (47,223 items in July) and New Health patient acquisition (£2.2m annualised from three weeks of marketing) sustain at these levels.
