Corero Network Security (AIM:CNS) has signed a five-year contract worth $3.4 million with a leading UK-based fixed and mobile telecommunications provider.
The AIM-listed distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection specialist won the deal alongside a strategic alliance partner, following a competitive tender process. Corero will deliver a fully managed service built on its SmartWall ONE DDoS protection platform and CORE system, including Layer 7 Transport Layer Security capabilities.
The customer's status as a Tier-1 UK telecoms provider means it must meet the requirements of the UK Cyber Security and Resilience Bill and the Telecommunications Security Act, which demand enhanced security and demonstrable UK operational sovereignty.
Corero said its on-premises solution and UK-based security operations centre were key to meeting those obligations.
Separately, the company has secured a three-year, $0.5 million contract with one of the world's leading NeoCloud providers, covering deployment of SmartWall ONE across two data centres with scope to expand further.
Corero said it now protects three of the world's largest NeoCloud providers, a segment it flagged as a growth opportunity alongside AI data centres.
"This award is a powerful endorsement of both our market-leading DDoS protection technology and the strength of our on-premises, sovereign deployment model, which is increasingly critical for operators of critical national infrastructure," said chief executive Carl Herberger.
He added that the two wins "demonstrate the momentum that the business is building."
News Intelligence what this means for the company
Corero secured a $3.4 million five-year contract with a UK Tier-1 telecoms provider plus a $0.5 million NeoCloud deal, both leveraging its on-premises SmartWall ONE platform and UK sovereignty credentials to meet regulatory requirements under the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill. The telecoms win is material relative to H1 2026 revenue of $15.5 million (22% annualized), and the NeoCloud contract extends Corero's footprint in a segment it has flagged as a growth opportunity alongside AI data centres.
The deals reinforce Corero's positioning in regulated, sovereignty-conscious segments where its on-premises model and UK operations centre are competitive advantages. At $3.9 million combined contract value against H1 annualized recurring revenue of $24.1 million, these wins support the momentum the company has been building, though the impact on full-year guidance and profitability trajectory remains to be seen in the interim results expected mid-September.
