Transense Technologies (AIM:TRT) has launched the TLGX HP, a high-pressure version of its Translogik TLGX tyre inspection tool intended to open new market sector opportunities with specialist fleets and the aircraft tyre market.
The TLGX HP expands the platform's pressure range from 150 psi (10 bar) to 350 psi (24 bar) through a new high-pressure sensing module, retains digital tread depth measurement from 0 to 30mm and offers optional tyre RFID and TPMS communications, and the device forms part of the Translogik TLGX Series, which Transense makes.
"The launch of the TLGX HP is in response to customer demand for high-pressure tyre applications that deliver the same speed, accuracy and digital data capture as the TLGX platform," Ryan Maughan, Managing Director, said.
The Translogik TLGX Series is used globally by vehicle fleet operators, tyre suppliers and service centres to digitally capture safety-critical tyre inspection data and transmit it into fleet and tyre management systems to support compliance, predictive maintenance and traceability.
