Raspberry Pi Holdings (LSE:RPI) shares traded up on Friday, rising 21.6% to 1001.6p, after the company said H1 profitability is materially ahead of the prior year and upgraded its FY2026 outlook.
In the first half, the Cambridge-based maker of low-cost, high-performance computing platforms expects unit shipments to exceed 4 million and adjusted EBITDA to be at least $38 million.
Management attributes the stronger H1 performance to continued growth in unit volumes, a favourable product mix and the utilisation of low‑density DRAM inventory accumulated through FY2025.
The company cautioned that DRAM-related price increases persist, but said demand from OEMs and other customers remains robust and that unit economics are expected to moderate in the second half as lower-cost memory is depleted.
Raspberry Pi said it is focused in H2 on gaining market share and strengthening customer relationships, and that it is confident it can secure the inventory needed to meet FY2026 production goals while appropriately utilising its debt facilities for strategic memory purchases.
It noted consensus analyst expectations for FY2026, for adjusted EBITDA, are set at $42 million, and the company expects it to be significantly ahead of those expectations.
