Pathos Communications (LSE:NEWS) has appointed Scott Feltham as Chief Technology Officer and also provided an update on the development of its proprietary AI platforms.
He brings more than 20 years' experience leading engineering organisations and delivering technology programmes in SaaS, regulated environments and AI initiatives backed by Microsoft and SoftBank, the technology-enabled, human-led PR firm said, noting that Feltham will be embedded in Pathos's operations to drive the platforms to general availability over the next 6-12 months.
Pathos said initial internal testing during the first three weeks of April showed Pressella booked approximately five times as many sales meetings as human colleagues using similar resources, and a tightly controlled three-day test produced an approximately seven-times booking rate, while the company warned results are preliminary and require further validation.
A dedicated development team drawn from top-tier professional services and global institutions including KPMG, Deloitte, EY and U.S. Bancorp has been established to progress Pressella and PathosMind towards general availability and to scale the company's AI capabilities.
"I am excited to join the company at this important stage of its growth and to lead the continued development of scalable, resilient systems," said Scott Feltham.
