Supreme (AIM:SUP) has taken on exclusive responsibility for the manufacture and distribution of Carabao energy and isotonic drinks in the UK under a five-year licensing deal, a move designed to scale the brand’s presence in British retail.

The agreement covers manufacture and UK-wide distribution only; no financial terms were disclosed. Carabao brings strong brand recognition — including an extended sponsorship of the Carabao Cup until 2029 and existing listings with Morrisons, Asda and Sainsbury's — while Supreme supplies manufacturing capacity, product development and its retail route-to-market.

"Carabao is a fantastic brand with strong heritage, high consumer awareness, and a clear identity in the energy drinks category. This partnership is a perfect fit for Supreme and sits firmly within our sweet spot, leveraging our manufacturing capability, innovation expertise, and distribution strength," said Sandy Chadha, Chief Executive Officer

Supreme says its state-of-the-art soft drinks facility and "extensive distribution network" — the group reports over 3,000 active business accounts and around 55,000 retail outlets, including Tesco, Aldi, B&M and Waitrose — will accelerate product availability, promotional support and new product development for Carabao in the UK market.

The licence is positioned as a growth platform for both parties over the five-year term as they expand the energy and functional drinks category in UK retail.
