GEO Exploration Limited (AIM:GEO) (AIM: GEO) has appointed Thomas Harris as its Australian Exploration Manager, the company said in an 8 April 2026 announcement. The hire is pitched to strengthen in‑country operational execution and oversight as GEO advances exploration on its Australian projects.

Harris brings over 15 years’ experience across gold and base‑metal exploration, having held roles with Newcrest, Oz Minerals, Agnico Eagle (as a consultant) and Greatland Gold. He was part of technical teams on the Havieron, Khamsin and Freemantle Doctor discoveries and has worked across Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Harris will work closely with GEO’s technical consultant, Mr Callum Baxter, to progress existing programmes and assess new opportunities, the company said.

"GEO Exploration Limited and the Board welcome Mr Harris who will be an integral member of the team. His appointment represents a positive and progressive step as we continue to grow into a multi-asset company. His experience, of major discoveries including his involvement in the Havieron discovery and working closely alongside Mr Callum Baxter, will be of significant benefit to both our current and future asset base," said Omar Ahmad, GEO chief executive.
