Eco Buildings Group (AIM:ECOB) has hit a structural milestone at the Rolling Hills residential scheme in Tirane, Albania, completing the first apartment block to second-floor level.

The UK-listed company, which uses proprietary glass fibre reinforced gypsum (GFRG) panel technology to deliver industrialised housing solutions, said it holds sufficient wall panels in stock to complete the remaining floor without supply interruption.

Each apartment block comprises 18 dwellings averaging approximately 100 square metres and is expected to generate around €2.2 million in revenue.

The first block is one of at least six planned for the site, with the apartment programme acting as a precursor to a larger villa development at the same location.

The project is described as on schedule.

"Rolling Hills demonstrates that our technology can compete successfully in premium residential markets while maintaining the speed, efficiency and consistency that define our proposition," said Dr Etrur Albani, Executive Vice Chairman.

Completion of the first block and conversion of the remaining five represent the next commercial steps for the Albania programme.
