Smarter Web Company confirms departure of Jesse Myers

The Bitcoin treasury company said Jesse Myers will leave on 1 September, with its Bitcoin strategy unaffected.

The Smarter Web Company (LSE:SWC), the AIM-listed web design and development firm known for holding Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset, announced that Jesse Myers is leaving the business with effect from 1 September.

The company said its Bitcoin Treasury Policy remains unchanged and will continue to be overseen by the board.

"I would like to thank Jesse for the contribution he has made to Smarter Web", said Andrew Webley, chief executive of The Smarter Web Company.

"We remain fully focused on executing our strategy and delivering our ambitions", he added.

The announcement contains no changes to the company's operational or Bitcoin investment strategy.
