Technology names across the market delivered a run of steady operational updates rather than dramatic swings on Tuesday, with margin discipline and contract renewals the common thread. accesso Technology Group headlined with a sharp jump in first-half profitability despite flat revenue, while smaller AIM names Pri0r1ty Intelligence and Transense Technologies both extended existing commercial relationships into new contract terms.
Accesso holds full-year guidance as H1 profitability jumps
accesso Technology Group (AIM:ACSO), the AIM-listed technology provider to leisure, entertainment and cultural venues, reported interim results showing Cash EBITDA up 49.7% to $7.6m for the six months to 30 June, against $5.1m a year earlier. Group revenue was essentially flat at $67.8m compared with $67.9m in the first half of 2025, with shares trading at 317.0p, down 0.78% on the day. The profitability gain came despite, not because of, the top line, a sign that the group's cost discipline is doing the heavy lifting for now.
Ticketing and distribution revenue rose 8.6% to $57.7m, offsetting a 41.7% drop in Guest Experience revenue to $6.1m following previously flagged changes to virtual queuing contracts. Underlying administrative expenditure fell 6.1% to $45.6m, lifting the Cash EBITDA margin to 11.2% from 7.5%. Accesso returned $20m (£14.5m) to shareholders via a March tender offer and has cancelled 18.9% of its issued share capital since April 2025, while also acquiring analytics provider Dexibit for around $7m plus deferred consideration, rebranded as accesso Intelligence, with five customers signed and around 100 further opportunities in the pipeline.
"With key trading periods still to come, we remain focused on disciplined execution through the second half and our full-year guidance remains unchanged," said Lee Cowie, Chief Executive.
The board reiterated FY26 guidance of approximately $146m revenue and $20m Cash EBITDA, with trading through July and August broadly in line with expectations. What stands out is the margin trajectory rather than the growth story: a management team under new leadership since May is proving it can extract profitability from a stagnant top line, buying credibility ahead of the peak seasonal trading and Middle East delivery milestones still to come in the second half. The capital return and buyback programme also signal confidence that cash generation, not just cost-cutting, underpins the improved numbers.
Pri0r1ty Intelligence renews Premier League deal, adds voice-agent trial
Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group (AIM:PR1) has renewed and extended its agreement with an unnamed Premier League club, marking the third season of the relationship since it began. The AIM-listed group, which delivers AI-driven growth solutions to SMEs through Halfspace, Pri0r1ty, Metr1c and Pirkx, will continue supplying the club's match-day sales operations through its Compass ID data management platform, with shares up 9.091% to 1.2p on the news.
Halfspace will earn SaaS revenues from Compass ID and the newly added Vox product totalling £30,000 a year, alongside consultancy fees of approximately £40,000 across the 2026-27 season, with scope for both to rise depending on marketing performance. The club has extended its subscription to include Vox, Pri0r1ty's voice-agent product, on a three-month trial to automate outbound sales calls for match-day hospitality, building on a Compass ID track record that has historically delivered a return on investment of more than 14 times advertising spend. "By combining both consultancy and SaaS revenue we are increasing customer spend and driving retention in line with our growth strategy," said Rory Maxwell, Chief Executive.
The renewal matters less for its absolute size than for what it demonstrates: a third consecutive season with the same client, plus the upsell of a new voice-agent product into an existing account, is the kind of retention and expansion pattern early-stage AI vendors need to prove out before scaling to further clients. "We are thrilled to continue our relationship here, providing data-driven solutions that empower their marketing and ticketing strategies to drive revenue," Maxwell added.
Transense wins Continental tyre tool development contract
Transense Technologies (AIM:TRT), the specialist sensor systems and smart tyre management technology provider, has secured a development and supply contract with Continental to build a next-generation digital tyre management tool. The company's Translogik division will create a bespoke version of its handheld TLGX device with enhanced functionality specified by Continental under a funded six-month development programme, with shares easing 0.55% to 45.25p on the day.
Production is expected to begin from the second quarter of 2027, with deployment across Continental's global service network. Subject to completion of the development work, Transense's board expects the programme to generate annual revenues of more than £700,000 from future deployments, extending a commercial relationship between Translogik and Continental that has run for several years. "We believe this programme represents an important commercial opportunity for Translogik and provides a strong platform for future growth," said Ryan Maughan, Managing Director of Transense Technologies.
The deal underscores Transense's positioning in the commercial vehicle sector's shift toward digital tyre management, converting a long-standing supplier relationship into a funded development programme with a defined revenue outcome rather than speculative pipeline. "We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Continental through this development programme," Maughan said, a signal that the Continental account still has room to grow beyond the newly announced scope.
