A French distribution agreement for Sulnox (LSE:SNOX)'s fuel-efficiency technology headlined a busy Monday for small-cap oil and gas names, with Block Energy (AIM:BLOE) setting out its post-farm-out roadmap, Nativo Resources (AIM:NTVO) reporting its year-end position after consolidating its Peruvian gold asset, and Prospex Energy (AIM:PXEN) jumping sharply on a new academic collaboration.

Sulnox secures national-scale French distribution partner

Sulnox Group Plc has signed a distribution agreement with a French partner of national scale to push its fuel-additive technology into the agriculture and fleet sectors. The deal gives Sulnox access to a distributor with established relationships across major original equipment manufacturers, opening a route into two commercially significant end-markets in France.

CEO Ben Richardson described the partnership as "an exciting opportunity," citing the distributor's responsiveness to a constantly evolving market. No financial terms were disclosed.

Block Energy maps execution path after US$95m XIQ carry

Block Energy (AIM:BLOE) used its full-year results to set out priorities following the completion of its XIQ farm-out, a deal that will fully carry the company through an estimated US$95.0m staged work programme. The transaction closed after the year-end, materially de-risking the balance sheet and shifting management's focus to operational delivery.

The results themselves showed 2025 revenue fell to US$6.057m, reflecting the period before the farm-out's transformative effect on the company's financial position. Shares edged fractionally lower to 1.0222p (-0.27%) as the market absorbed the update.

Prospex Energy enters IMMAGE reservoir research collaboration

Prospex Energy (AIM:PXEN) announced a collaboration with the IMMAGE academic programme, providing additional core samples and subsurface data to support reservoir geology research at its project. The arrangement is designed to deepen understanding of the reservoir and inform efficient energy recovery, with the academic team gaining access to proprietary data in exchange for research output that feeds directly into Prospex's development planning.

The market responded positively, lifting the shares 10.0% to 3.3p. Tom Reynolds's team framed the tie-up as mutually beneficial, with the additional data expected to materially increase geological understanding of the asset.
