It has finished bulk sampling, spectral surveys and environmental baseline work across its Motzfeldt critical metals project in South Greenland, setting up the next phase of processing and target definition.

The renamed explorer, formerly Alba Mineral Resources, posted a narrower half-year loss as it took control of its Greenland rare earths project while progress at the Clogau gold mine remained slower than hoped.

Arkadian Strategic Metals has installed ladders and platforms opening direct access to the historically productive Jack Williams stope at its Clogau-St David's gold mine, with inspection work due to start in early September.

"All travel, equipment and services procurement and the principal logistics are now substantially in place, allowing our team, plus the teams from our field contractors TheiaX and BioApp, to start to mobilise to site from the end of this week," Rooks said.

"We have been focused on advancing our projects through disciplined technical work and careful planning," said George Frangeskides, Executive Chairman.

The former Alba Mineral Resources will begin trading on AIM under the new ticker AKN from 8 June after Companies House approved the name change.
