Mincon Group (AIM:MCON), the Irish engineering group specialising in rock drilling tools and associated consumables, announced on Friday that revenue for the nine months to 30 September was 28% ahead of the same period in 2025.
It now expects full-year 2026 revenue and EBITDA to come in ahead of market expectations, the company said, citing strong trading momentum through the third quarter. Most of the growth came from the construction sector, where Mincon continues to gain traction with its spiral flush drilled foundations solution, particularly in North America, where work on major infrastructure projects is expected to run into 2027.
The company also won two significant new projects in Sweden during the quarter, which are expected to complete between the fourth quarter and the first quarter of 2027.
Mincon said its mining business also grew across Africa, Australia and North America in the period, continuing the momentum seen in the first half. Meanwhile, higher raw material costs weighed on margins during the quarter, partly offset by modest price increases, though the company said those cost pressures have since eased.
With operating leverage building from higher throughput at its facilities, Mincon said it expects margins to improve further over the remainder of 2026.
