Hercules (AIM:HERC), the AIM-listed UK power and infrastructure services group, announced it has secured approximately £310,000 of new funded training awards through Warwickshire County Council.
The awards will fund programmes bringing new entrants into construction alongside Level 3 qualifications for existing workers, part of the Hercules Academy's mission to address labour shortages across power, energy, rail, highways, utilities and construction.
The company was also appointed to the West Midlands Combined Authority's Preferred Provider List, opening access to further funded training work across one of the UK's largest combined authorities.
Hercules now delivers prison education and employment programmes at seven HM Prison establishments, up from three in 2025, with a further seven sites under engagement.
Commercial pilot programmes with major infrastructure clients are underway, with additional contract opportunities under evaluation.
The Academy has trained more than 2,500 individuals since launching over two years ago.
