Potentially AI appoints Oliver Yonchev as chief executive

Potentially AI (AIM:AGI) announced it has appointed co-founder Oliver Yonchev as Chief Executive Officer on Tuesday, alongside a reshuffle of senior management that includes the departure of fellow co-founder Sukhveer Sanghera from the board.

The AIM-listed collective AI platform, which gives users access to more than 1,000 models from multiple providers under a "one platform, all models" positioning, said the changes form part of a leadership and engineering structure designed to deliver its workspace product, still targeted for release by the end of 2026.

Yonchev has served as an Executive Director since the company's admission to AIM in July 2026, leading its commercial and operational build, and previously co-founded and ran Flight Story with Steven Bartlett before exiting that business in 2024.

Sanghera, who served as Chief Architect through a consultancy agreement with his wholly owned company Artificial Superintelligence, has stepped down from the board with immediate effect, and Potentially AI said it is discussing how to transition the services provided under that agreement.

Arfan Chaudhry, who joined as Chief Growth Officer in June 2026 and led the function through the launch of the consumer beta, has been promoted to Chief Product Officer, taking responsibility for product strategy and delivery across both the consumer application and the workspace product.

Josje Koehof, a technology lawyer and data protection specialist previously at Build A Rocket Boy and Optiver UK, joins as adviser to the board on AI Governance and Data Strategy, where she will oversee the company's commitment that user data is not used to train models and the compliance framework required for enterprise deployment in 2027.

The appointments follow the strategic technology partnership with Juma Labs announced on 22 October, under which a dedicated team of eight senior AI engineers, including Juma Labs' chief executive and chief technology officer Ilko Kacharov, is working on the workspace product.

The company's consumer beta application, launched in September 2026, had recorded more than 100,000 installs across iOS, Android and the web as at 26 October.

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Sukhveer for his contribution to Potentially as a co-founder, and for building the application that has now passed 100,000 installs," said Lord Dominic Johnson, Non-Executive Director.

Johnson added that the board's focus "is now squarely on delivering the workspace product by the end of 2026."
