The Smarter Web Company (LSE:SWC) has bought another 20 Bitcoin for £1.23m, taking its treasury holding to 2,850 BTC, the London-listed software and digital services provider said on Friday.
The purchase, made at an average price of £61,733 per coin, lifts the net average purchase price across the whole treasury to £81,837 per BTC.
The company reported gross Bitcoin purchases of £241.98m against gross sales of £8.75m, leaving net Bitcoin purchases of £233.24m.
It also posted a quarter-to-date BTC Yield of 2.41%, a key performance indicator tracking the change in the ratio of total Bitcoin holdings to fully diluted shares, measured from the end of the third quarter on 30 September.
The purchase extends an accumulation run that has been near-continuous since April, when the treasury stood at 2,778 BTC with a total reported cost of £227.2m.
Holdings dipped in July after the company repaid $11.7m owed under its Smarter Convert instrument, funded by selling 177.89 BTC and cutting the treasury to 2,700 BTC, before resuming purchases through August, September and October.
The Bitcoin buying sits within "The 10 Year Plan", the treasury policy the company set out on 28 April 2025, under which it has been acquiring Bitcoin and accepting Bitcoin payments since 2022.
Smarter Web Company has funded recent purchases partly through its Coinbase Strategic Credit Facility, a loan secured against its Bitcoin holdings carrying a variable interest rate, which stood at £17m after an October paydown financed through the company's ongoing Subscription Agreement.
That agreement, first announced on 24 December 2025, has also been a steady source of cash, with placements through September and October raising sums used in part to reduce the Coinbase borrowings.
The company separately launched its MORE preferred share class on 29 September, targeting gross proceeds of £15m to £25m to fund working capital, further Bitcoin purchases and growth of the operating business.
