Computacenter raises full-year profit guidance again

by tickstock newsroom · Editor JMA

Computacenter (LSE:CCC) on Monday raised its full-year profit guidance for the third time this year on Monday, telling investors it now expects adjusted pre-tax profit for 2026 of no less than £425m.

That compares with a company-compiled analyst consensus of £387.1m, with estimates ranging from £380.8m to £395.3m.

The London-listed IT infrastructure services and solutions provider said the upgrade followed an "excellent" third-quarter performance that came in ahead of its own expectations, with Technology Sourcing revenue growing strongly on continued hyperscale and neocloud demand in North America and the UK.

Group Services revenue also improved year on year, as organic growth in Professional Services, again led by North America, offset a decline in Managed Services revenue.

North America kept up its momentum through the quarter, with record project completions lifting both Technology Sourcing and Professional Services and adding to its committed order backlog; the UK delivered strong Technology Sourcing growth and solid Professional Services gains, while Germany posted a robust underlying performance with Professional Services holding stable as the company continues efficiency measures flagged at the half year.

The committed product order backlog, which represents outstanding purchase orders placed with technology vendors against non-cancellable customer sales orders for delivery within 12 months, reached a record £12.6bn at the end of the quarter, up from £9.3bn at the end of June.

That follows an interim period in which the backlog had already hit a then-record £9.3bn, up 323.2% year on year, as North America's share of group adjusted operating profit climbed to 62% on the back of hyperscale and enterprise customer demand; this is the second guidance upgrade this year, after the company raised its outlook in July and again at half-year results in September, when it guided to no less than £380m.
