Barclays US unit clears Fed stress test with capital ratios above minimums

Barclays (LSE:BARC) said its US intermediate holding company, Barclays US, passed the Federal Reserve Board's annual stress test, with projected capital ratios staying above required minimums throughout all nine quarters of the hypothetical supervisory severely adverse scenario.

The Federal Reserve published the results on 24 June.

Barclays US has also released its own internal assessment of the results, available on the Barclays website.
