KRM22 (AIM:KRM), the AIM-listed technology and software investment company focused on risk management for capital markets, has signed a new customer contract for its Risk Manager application worth £0.9m spread equally over three years.

The customer is a major software vendor in the capital markets industry and becomes the second such vendor to adopt Risk Manager, a pattern the company says underlines the reach of its technology within the wider capital markets ecosystem.

Risk Manager, launched in early 2024, now carries annual recurring revenue (ARR) of £3.2m, of which £2.8m comes from dedicated Risk Manager contracts.

The remaining £0.4m stems from four customers still on legacy At-Trade and Post-Trade contracts, which KRM22 continues working to migrate onto the newer application.

Following the new deal, and at current GBP:USD exchange rates, group-wide ARR has risen to £8.4m.

"This contract win further validates the market opportunity for Risk Manager and demonstrates continued industry demand for KRM22's integrated risk management solutions," said chief executive Dan Carter, adding that the ARR increase reflects progress toward a "cash generative and profitable business."
