Accesso Technology Group (AIM:ACSO), a technology solutions provider for the leisure, entertainment and cultural markets, disclosed an IT security incident involving temporary unauthorised access to a part of its systems.

The AIM-listed group said the breach has been contained and caused no downtime or major disruption to its operations or customer services.

Accesso activated its incident response plan, brought in external specialists and put workarounds and additional precautionary measures in place to limit the risk of further unauthorised access.

The investigation so far has found that the accessed systems contained internal information relating to the group's own business operations.

That investigation is ongoing, though the group said it has not detected any suspicious network activity since the incident.

"The Board currently assesses the risk of financial exposure arising from the incident to be low," the company said.

Accesso is communicating with affected customers and has notified the relevant authorities.
