Marks Electrical Group plc (AIM:MRK) said FY26 sales are expected to be approximately £108.5m (FY25: £117.2m) after H2-FY26 revenue was +4.7% on H1-FY26 following a strong peak trading period and a resilient Q4-FY26.

The filing said the group has placed an "elevated focus on margin enhancing organic routes to market" and implemented a single co‑ordinated programme of cost rationalisation and operational efficiencies; as a result adjusted EBITDA is now expected to exceed £2m and cash is expected to close "in and around £3.5m-£4.0m," reflecting strong working capital management, particularly within inventory.

Tom Pallatt will join the board as permanent Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 April 2026, the company said. Pallatt, aged 48, has been Interim CFO since November 2025, was at Ibstock Brick for 17 years holding senior finance roles including Group Financial Controller of Ibstock PLC, is ACA‑qualified and will be a member of the Audit and Risk Committee; the company confirmed he has not been a director of any company within the past five years under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

Mark Smithson, CEO of Marks Electrical, said: "With the strong business that we have, with growing brand recognition, nationwide distribution and installation capability I am pleased that we are able to report adjusted EBITDA ahead of market expectations thanks to our disciplined focus on margin and operational cost management. We are finishing FY26 with good momentum and are well positioned heading into FY-27."
