SysGroup (AIM:SYS), an AIM-listed managed IT service provider focused on cybersecurity for the UK mid-market, has secured two new three-year contracts worth a combined total of more than £1 million.

The customers are a UK housing association and an English further education provider.

SysGroup will deliver managed data protection, cyber resilience and recovery services to both using Rubrik's technology platform.

Alongside the contract wins, SysGroup has become the first UK&I managed service provider to join Rubrik's MSP PayGo programme, a consumption-based commercial model that lets it deliver Rubrik's cyber resilience tools as a managed service without customers taking on upfront enterprise technology costs.

The company said the tie-up also feeds into its "MSP 3.0" and AI strategy, giving it additional data and operational insight to support more automated, intelligence-led service delivery.

"These two three-year agreements, across the social housing and further education sectors, demonstrate that this is not simply a technology partnership," said Heejae Chae, Executive Chairman of SysGroup.

He added that it is "already translating into customer demand, recurring revenue and a stronger competitive position" for the company.

David Kosman, Rubrik's Area Vice President of Global MSP Sales, said SysGroup's customer relationships and cyber security expertise made it "an excellent partner to extend Rubrik's cyber resilience capabilities to more organisations".

The company described the announcement as not material to management's performance expectations.
