IXICO (AIM:IXI) has released version 10 of its IXI AI-driven neuroimaging platform, increasing image-processing speed, raising capacity and improving reading precision.
The IXI Platform is IXICO's proprietary, AI-enabled suite for clinical-trial imaging and biomarker analysis and v10 is positioned to support the group's TechBio strategy to expand its addressable market through licensing, technology integration and partnerships.
IXI 10.0 adds higher image-reading accuracy, faster and larger-volume data processing, remote image access and enhanced data-quality qualification tools.
"The latest generation of our AI-driven platform increases accuracy and processing capacity and further strengthens data quality oversight," Bram Goorden, Chief Executive Officer, said.
IXICO says IXI already runs more than 30 analytics algorithms, standardises high-quality image capture and delivers regulatorily compliant reporting to support decision-making in drug development.
The release follows IXICO's 26 March collaboration with Medidata and is framed as a step to move the business beyond its traditional imaging contract research organisation remit.
IXI is used to process imaging and measure biomarkers in studies of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's and other neurological diseases.
