Pennant International Group (AIM:PEN) has secured a £1m contract to supply a virtual training simulator to a UK manufacturer of air defence applications.
The initial order covers design, development and testing, is subject to a bank guarantee that is being finalised, and delivery of the first phase is expected in the second half of 2026; Pennant is a systems support software and training solutions company and it anticipates series production orders from 2027 to support the customer’s end users in operational battlefield environments.
"We expect to be working with this customer for years to come as they continue to expand their business," Phil Walker, CEO, said.
The award adds to momentum in the Training Systems segment after the Group secured over £11m of new orders in that division since its Interim Results in September 2025.
Delivery of the initial contract phase in H2 2026 is the immediate milestone for the programme.
