Kazera Global receives initial $500,000 from Hebei under settlement agreement

The first tranche of a settlement payment has landed in subsidiary Aftan's Namibian bank account, confirming Hebei has begun performing under the deal.

Kazera Global (AIM:KZG), a diversified commodity investment company, confirmed on 10 July that its subsidiary Aftan has received an initial US$500,000 settlement payment from Hebei into its Namibian bank account.

Aftan is now processing the transfer of funds to Kazera in line with applicable exchange control requirements.

"Receipt of the initial US$500,000 payment into Aftan's bank account is an important milestone and confirms that Hebei has commenced performance under the settlement agreement," said Richard Jennings, Interim Chief Executive Officer.
