Genedrive (AIM:GDR) confirmed on 1 July that Dr. Ian Gilham has stepped down as Chairman, the latest move in a board restructuring process first announced on 26 May.

The AIM-listed company, which develops rapid pharmacogenetic tests used at the point of care, is actively recruiting a new independent Non-Executive Chairman alongside two independent Non-Executive Directors, with no timeline yet disclosed.

Chris Yates remains on the board as an independent Non-Executive Director in the interim, a position confirmed in the original May announcement.

CEO Gino Miele thanked Gilham for "the invaluable contributions he has made over many years in helping to shape the Company and its mission to transform patient outcomes through rapid pharmacogenetic testing."
