Aurrigo International (LSE:AURR) will relocate its global headquarters and core design and manufacturing centre to a new site at Power Park in Coventry comprising 130,615 square feet.

The facility is more than three times the size of Aurrigo’s current UK premises and will act as the company’s hub for advanced engineering, autonomous vehicle development, high-volume manufacturing and ongoing Automotive activities. The board says the move is "a key step in building a scalable platform to support long-term growth."

The expanded site is intended to support the recently announced £6.28m contract with Ultra Global for 25 autonomous guided vehicles, underscoring the need to scale production to meet rising commercial demand. It also complements Aurrigo’s international hub and licensing programme across Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and the United States.

Once fully operational, and subject to customer demand, the facility is projected to be capable of manufacturing up to 500 autonomous vehicles per annum.

"This new UK Hub Facility marks an important milestone for our business and our unwavering commitment to the UK," Prof. David Keene MBE, said.
